Edwards, Glen
Glen Edwards, Coast Salish from the Penelakut Nation, started carving in 1977 and he trained with Danny Baker and other Squamish carvers. Glen gained many of his ideas and aesthetics through the study of Salish and southern art. Glen has many pieces in private collections throughout Canada, Europe, Japan and the United States. He is well known for his wall plaques, maskettes and deep carving. He and his brother Andrew, together with his Cousin Herb Rice created one of the beautiful totems (Transformation of Man) for the city of Duncan.
