Henderson, John
John Henderson is a member of the Campbell River Band, Wai-wai-kum First Nation. His father was Sam Henderson, his mother May (nee Quocksister) Henderson). Please check Sam Henderson's biography below, it's also very impressive. Sam, John's father used to carve in a studio next to their home - he was teaching John at a very early age the techniqes and tradition of the art of carving. John brought a lot of talent to it and soon developed his own style, still keeping tradition and history from the Naxuwakduk (Blunden Harbor) in mind. John was the youngest of the 15 children. I'm not certain about the exact year, but I think John was born in the early 1950's, Mark Henderson is one of his brothers - his biography is available as well.
