Hunt, Henry Jr.

Henry Hunt Jr., a member of the Kwakiulth First Nation, was born in 1950 into one of the most important and worldwide known Family of master carvers.  He is the son of the famous and historically important Henry Hunt and he spent lots of time carving with his brother Tony Hunt - both well known and important master carvers. Henry is a true master carver by heart himself and you can clearly see the love for the traditional art of authentic First Nations Kwakwaka'wakw  carving. He originates from Fort Rupert, a small village on Vancouver Island on the Pacific Northwest Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
