Morgan, Valerie
Valerie Morgan is a member of the Kwakwaka’wakw First Nation, born 1961, originating from the Skeena River. She attended the Kitanmaax School of Northwest Coast Indian Art. Later she moved to Kitwanga in British Columbia and was adopted into the Frog Clan. Today, her designs in sued and leather clothing, her traditional and contemporary art carvings are highly sought after. She is a very gifted carver and artist, specializing in miniature and narrative masks.
