Harold Natrall is a member of the Coast Salish First Nation. He was born in 1939 Mission, a small town in British Columbia, Canada's Pacific Northwest Coast. Harold began to carve at the age of 15 after spending many hours watching his father, Andrew Natrall, carve in the fine old tradition of the Salish masters. Harold carves figurines, totem poles, and faces. He presently lives on the Capilano Reserve located in North Vancouver where he dedicates himself to his art full-time.
