Pat Natrall is a member of the Coast Salish First Nation. He was born on the Mission Reserve near Vancouver, British Columbia. Pat was born into the Salish Nation of the Pacific Northwest Coast Natives. As a child, Pat began to carve in the soft red and yellow cedar indigenous to British Columbia. He began to carve watching his father, Andrew Natrall, produce small pieces in his spare time. Pat and his brothers have turned carving into a full-time career, creating totem poles, masks, talking sticks and plaques.
