This is a 15" tall soapstone sculpture by world renowned Inuit artist Nalenik Temela! It is signed in Syllabics, dated 1978. Nalenik Temela was born in Kimmirut, 1939 and started carving when he was 15 years old. He died 2003. His Disc number is E771.

Just an excellent example of Inuit (Eskimo) Art - a true Masterpiece!
