THUNDERBIRD Totem Sculpture (3D)

carved all around, very powerful and rich expression, majestic! Excellent masterpiece by the late Haida Nation Artist Darrell LeBlanc - The Quality is truly amazing. so much detail and yet simple, elegant and just - beautiful, The yellow cedar is so clean, it's just perfect, this piece just didn't need any paint or stain, so gorgeous. Darrell signed this sculpture as he always did with carved initials. 

Measurements: 15" tall x 4 1/2" x 3" 

Meaning: The Thunderbird symbolizes supernatural power and is believed to be the  dominating force behind all of natures doings. It's a mythical creature and only the most prestigious and powerful Chiefs are allowed to have the Thunderbird as a crest.
