Truly beautiful master carving by Shane Flood Baker, a member of the Coast Salish and Kwakiulth First Nation

MASTER FISHERMAN BLUE HERON

wall art carving, so detailed, so many details, have a look at the catch in the heron's beak - masterfully done. The Heron shows it's pride and skills, so elegant, easy recognizable as Shane's artwork - and again, have a look at the knife-marks, gorgeous piece of yellow cedar

Carved in front, signed at the back, made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached.

Measurements: 32" x 7" x 1"

Meaning: The Blue Heron brings messages of self-determination and self-reliance. They represent an ability to progress and evolve. The long thin legs of the heron reflect that an individual doesn't need great massive pillars to remain stable, but must be able to stand on one's own.

Herons are prompting you to look deeper into aspects of your life and asks you to ground yourself regularly. In so doing, it will bring out your innate wisdom and show you how to become more self-reliant. It’s teaching you how to become comfortable in uncertain situations. Therefore it would be prudent to watch for opportunities so that you can quickly grasp them and move on.
