Beautiful little Gem - a great start for any native Art collection -

High Quality art carving by Gino Seward, a member of the Kwakiulth First Nation with many years of experience in this art

EAGLE

This piece is so thick, it does stand and looks great on a fireplace mantle. It's carved on one side, signed at the back. As always, very deep and detailed carving, beautiful stain applied and polished to accentuate the natural grain of the cedar.

Measurements: 8 1/2" x 4" x 1 1/2" (21.5 x 10 x 4 cm)

Meaning: The Eagle symbolizes grace, power and great intellect. It is a sacred and noble creature representing power and prestige to the First Nations people of the Northwest Coast. It symbolizes wisdom and has a special and direct connection to the creator.
