Check this out - I just met with our friend Alfred Robertson, a member of the Kwakwakaw'wakw First Nation, - and as always, he presented a gorgeous piece of Art!! True Indigenous Art from the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest coast of
Superb Quality!!! Carved to perfection, the stain in a deep brown, polished to accentuates the natural grain of the wood. Signed at the back, prepared for wall hanging, but it's so thick, it's free standing and looks great on every shelf, fireplace mantle, table, entrance or wherever you see fit. A marvelous piece of art.
Carved and painted in the front, signed at the back. Have a close look at the images, although they don't do it justice.

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
