Another beautiful SALMON by Master Artist Alfred Robertson from the Kwakwakaw'wakw First Nation - just so impressive !! The images don't do it justice

stained to accentuate the natural grain of the wood, polished, clean and very deep carving, made and already prepared for wall hanging, carved in the front, signed at the back. The grain throughout this piece truly shows off the beauty of the wood. The lines are so clean, only a master artist can manage. Just a truly gorgeous piece of Indigenous Art

Measurements: ca. 20" long, 5 1/2" wide, 1 1/2" thick (50 x 14 x 4 cm)

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
