Sterling silver moon mounted on a large copper bracelet, engraved with Wolves, one on each side, each is different. Truly a superb piece of First Nations Jewelery by Master artist Norman Seaweed, a member of the Kwagiulth First Nations from Vancouver Island. This is a such a powerful piece! Norman put so much love and detail into this piece. This is a solid piece, VERY unique and impressive.
Measurements: 2" thick, 7" circumference + 1" opening
Meaning: The Moon is associated with transformation since it controls the tides and illuminates the dark. It is seen as a guardian spirit. The Wolves represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter. The Wolf is a very social and communicative creature; he uses body movement, touch and sound.
