Beautiful and very impressive !
Another gorgeous piece of native Art at it's best by Alfred Robertson from Kingcome Inlet, a member of the Kwakiulth First Nation.
Alfred just loves his Ravens and his Eagles. This is a great example of his talent and highest quality craftsmenship. The Eagle is richly decorated with the traditional cedar bark, the face of the Eagle is adorned with cedar rope. The mask is sitting on a natural wooden base but can also be hung up on the wall - If you would prefer wall hanging, please let us know and we will prepare it for it. Alfred is carving these Eagles in various sizes - this is one of his larger examples - very powerful, great presence - the wood, showing the grain is just beautiful. The painting clean and the carving, just excellent! The beak is articulated - opens and closes through thin lining, makes a beautiful clapping sound.....
