Fantastic piece of North American art - finest quality from a master carver from the First Nations, living on Vanvouver Island. A new masterpiece to show off in our native art gallery:
Brian Bob's Kingfisher
wall art carving - the images don't do it justice - it's truly a superb piece of Indigenous Art. Thick solid piece of cedar, the expression is so alive and wonderful. The kingfisher does show the salmon symbol on it's body - it has 2 pieces of Abalone inlays (Mother of pearl). The stain is polished and has been added to accentuate the natural grain of the wood. Carved in front, signed at the back, made and prepared for wall hanging - have a look....
