Sea Serpent (Sisiutl)
wall art carving by Silas Coon, a master artist from Kingcome Inlet, member of the Kwakwakaw' wakw First Nation. He clearly love this art form - you can see it on all the details he puts into it - the inlays, the clean painting and the incredibly detailed carving, he pays so much attention to any little corner - the carving lines are so clean. He used pine, stained it and painted it in a copper color. Carved in front, signed at the back, made and ready for wall hanging.
