Large 3D Raven Sculptue

solid piece of cedar, elegant, powerful expression, simple but simple, gorgeous piece of Art by First Nations Artist Doug Horne from the Coast Salish First Nation of the Pacific Northwest. Carved all around, signed underneath, very clean painting in traditional black and red which show's off this beautiful piece of cedar. It has a tiny spot/flaw on top of the Raven's head which takes nothing away from this wonderful piece. - It's quite heavy - shipping overseas might be available, but it's a heavy piece, so please contact us for costs)

Measurements: 23" x 12" x 8" (58.5 x 30.5 x 20 cm)

Meaning: The Raven is known to be the transformer, trickster and creator. In the Kwakwaka'wakw culture the Raven is known as the messenger of the sky and famous for being a somewhat mischievous glutton. He's always out to please himself and to have a good time. He's very adventurous.
