Really beautiful piece of art, highly decorative

OWL wall art carving by female master artist Sarah Robertson from Kingcome Inlet, a member of the Kwakwakaw'wakw First Nation

As mostly, she used beautiful clean yellow pine for this piece. It just shows of the almost perfect carving lines and stands out with the vibrant red and black painting. The lines are really deep and very precise. Sarah shows her long experience and her love for this art. Carved in front, signed and prepared for wall hanging on the back.

Measurements: 13" x 6 1/2" x 1" (33 x 16 x 2.5 cm)

Meaning: The Owl is associated with the souls of the ancestors and are viewed with high respect. They symbolize wisdom, intuition and prophecies and sacred knowledge.
