Another gorgeous piece by master artist Brian Bob from Vancouver Island
Jumping Killer Whale
so beautiful! Superb carving, incredible clean piece of Sitka spruce, inlaid with Abalone. As always, the expression and the design is so elegant - truly superb craftsmanship. Every time I visit the artist, he surprises with new designs and it's always such a pleasure to chat with him about them. He is very knowledgeable and is always happy to share stories and history. Carved in front, prepared for wall hanging and signed with his carved "B" at the back.
Measurements: 24" x 9" x 1/2"
