OTTER and URCHIN
Absolutely gorgeous design, everytime we meet, Shane surprises me with something new and different. I really love these "ovale" designs (please keep scrolling, there are more...). Of course, fully hand carved, hand painted and signed at the back.
Very clean carving lines, he mixed soft with vibrant colors and added a soft green painted frame - it just works and looks fabulous. You can also clearly see the knife marks, beautiful. Truly superb quality!
Measurements: 15" x 11" x 1"
Meaning: The Otter is a symbol for intelligence, resourcefulness and playfulness. They are seen as a symbol of laughter and light-heartedness. They are known to be accomplished fisher, and therefore often are depicted with a fish.
