Simply beautiful - and adorable
Hummingbird, known to be the Bird of Love, by Nootka master artist Brian Bob from Vancouver Island.
Small piece, but truly highest quailty and a real gem. The eye is inlaid with Abalone. The carving is as always superb and very clean. Deep lines, the wood is stained in a light but vibrant green - just a really lovely piece of true Indigenous Art - makes a great gift or is a great start to any native art collection.
Measurements: 12" x 3 1/2" x 3/4" (30.5 x 9 x 2 cm)
Meaning: The Hummingbird teaches you to appreciate and love the miracle of living and to help you focus on the positivity in your life. They represent friendship, playfulness and are a symbol of good luck
