Small, but HIGHEST Quality - as usual by master artist John Henry Hunt from the Kwakiulth First Nation.

Double OWL Rattle, depicting day and night.

The carving is truly exceptional - the painting so vibrant and powerful. John Henry allways pays so much attention to details. He decorated the Owl faces with painted cedar bark, the rattle has a really soft sound. It does come with a black base and is signed underneath.

Measurements: 8 1/2" tall, wingspan 6", 3" deep

A true miniature gem - superb carving, superb painting, superb expression and nice sound. Just a great piece to add to any native art collection, carved and signed Indigenous piece of art.

Meaning: The Owl is associated with the souls of the ancestors and are viewed with highest respect. They symbolize wisdom, intuition and prophecies and sacred knowledge.
