Another gorgeous piece by master artist Brian Bob from Vancouver Island
Killer Whale emerging from the ocean
so beautiful! Superb carving, clean piece of wood inlaid with Abalone. Thick and solid piece, looks great hanging on the wall, but also looks great standing e.g. on fireplace mantle or your entrance. As always, the expression and the design is so unique - truly superb craftsmanship. Every time I visit the artist, he surprises with new designs and it's always such a pleasure to chat with him about them. He is very knowledgeable and is always happy to share stories and history. Carved in front, prepared for wall hanging and signed at the back.
Measurements: 19" x 7" x 1 1/2" (48 x 18 x 4 cm)
