Gorgeous SALMON with Eagle spirits by master artist Brian Bob from Nanoose Bay.

The carving is exceptional. The gorgeous wood (sitkus spruce) is stained with a grey-ish dark blue wash, accentuating the natural grain of the gorgeous, clean wood. The eyes of the eagle spirits are inlaid with Abalone, as is the eye of the salmon. As always, Brian's carving lines are so clean and deep - the expression, amazing! It's made and prepared for wall hanging, carved in front, signed at the back, hanger already attached.

Measurement: 29" x 7 1/4" x 1 1/4"

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
