Warrior Spirit Mask by Kolten Khasalus Grant from the house of Lilawagila from Gwa'yi, Kingcome Inlet, BC. 

another absolutely impressive piece of art - I just love the expression Kolten can manage to get out of his artwork. Look at those eyes - they go right through you, don't they? The painting in blue is truly powerful and together with the black horse hair, just a stunning combination. Very strong and fierce. Kolten used alder for this piece, it just shows beautiful grain and the yellow clean color just adds to the mask's expression.

For full disclosure: non-threatening crack at the back, stabilized by the artist, not visible from the front.

The mask is signed and dated at the back, prepared for wall hanging.
