Beautiful WOLF wall art carving by well known artist Gino Seward, a member if the Kwakiulth First Nations, Kingcome Inlet.
The wolf is shown in a sitting position, looking, well probably at the moon.... very detailed with lots of deep carving lines. It's stained in a dark brown which still shows the beautiful natural grain of the wood. As most of his pieces, it's carved in the front, signed at the back, made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached.
Measurements: 16" x 6" x 1/2"
Meaning: The Wolf represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter. The Wolf is a very social and communicative creature; he uses body movement, touch and sound.
