WIND MASK pendant - hand carved and inlaid by master artist Silas Coon from the Kwakiulth First Nation.
The details on this pendant are truly incredible. Silas pays so much attention to details and spend so many hours on his carvings, they truly are close to perfection! This is so unique, looks absolutely stunning, comes with a leather band - Silas is specialized in the carving of Tribal miniatures. He was part of an exhibition of small carvings on Vancouver Island, where his carvings were presented together with carvings by Luke Marston, Valerie Morgan, Kevin Cranmer, Shawn Karpes and just a handful more. A very elite group of artists who's Tribal miniatures in wood are so highly desired, admired and collected all over the world.
The eyes of the Wind's face are inlaid with tiny pieces of Abalone (mother of pearl), the top of the head is decorated with feathers, the painting is vibrant. The pendant is signed at the back. It was originally gifted within family - and here it is now... Have a look.
