Octopus with Wild Man and Chief

excellent wall art carving. Fully hand carved, hand painted, hand inlayed. New design by master artist SILAS COON from the Kwakiulth First Nations, Kingcome Inlet, BC.

It's really an impressive piece of art, the carving lines are as always superb, such high quality. Silas is spending so much time on each piece, it's just remarkable. Very unique - you don't see these often. It's made and prepared for wall hanging, carved and inlaid in front, signed at the back.

Measurements: 23" x 7" x 1/2" (58.5 cm x 18 cm x 1.5 cm)

Meaning: The Octopus is a symbol of flexibility and intelligence. Their movements symbolize grace and purity. It shows us how important it is to being able to stay focused, always curious and to relax. It teaches us to go skillful through live without strain but always keep their eyes on the end goal while moving along their path.
