Gorgeous piece, as always, very clean and powerful carving by

Bear (Doug) Horne from the Coast Salish First Nation

Yellow cedar Hummingbird (Bird of Love) dance paddle

Fully hand carved and designed by a master of this art. He truly has his unique style, easy recognizable and always absolutely stunning. Clear, clean, elegant and just beautiful. Doug signed this paddle at the back. The cedar he used is old-growth and just is gorgeous so he left it without paint, it just doesn't need any, it's oiled and polished instead.

Measurements: 41" x 6" x 1/2"

Meaning: The Hummingbird teaches you to appreciate and love the miracle of living and to help you focus on the positivity in your life. They represent friendship, playfulness and are a symbol of good luck. They are seen as messengers of peace, heal body and soul and guide you through life's challenges. Hummingbirds are very independent and seem to have an unlimited energy supply. They symbolize wonder, love and beauty.
