3" thick (!) HUGE Killer Whale, black with lots of Abalone inlays - wall art masterpiece by George Nookemus, a member of the Huu-ay-aht First Nations. 

This really is a massive piece of wood - fully hand carved, painted in black. Very deep cuts, superb craftsmenship!! Powerful piece. George clearly put so much work into this piece. It truly is remarkable. It's carved in front, signed at the back made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached. It's quite heavy! It's not brand new, shows some very tiny signs of gentle handling, absolutely gorgeous piece of Art.
