The carving is as always close to perfection, the moon is sanded and waxxed, flawless!!! A real masterpiece of authentic and fully hand carved art from the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest. Signed at the back, prepared for wall hanging.
Measurements: 14" x 14" x 4" (36 cm x 36 cm x 10 cm)
Meaning: The Moon is associated with transformation since it controls the tides and illuminates the dark. It is seen as a guardian spirit. Moon and wife sun are the bringer of good luck and plentiful food. Moon's facial expression is always more delicate and serene than Sun.
