Really beautiful piece of Art designed and hand carved by our dear late friend and master artist Tony Hunt Jr. from the Kwakwaka'wakw First Nations. Direct great-grandson of Mungo Martin, son of Chief Tony Hunt (1942 - 2017)

Kwakiulth Star Mask

Of course fully hand carved, hand painted. Besides of course the signature at the back, you can already tell from the colors used that it's Tony's. The light and vibrant colors, still showing off a lot of the beautiful cedar wood. Accents of black in the Star's face. Very clean finish, even at the back which proofs that the artist clearly loves it.
