WOLF Model MASK, mounted on base (can be taken off), by Chris George, a member of the Ucluelet First Nations, originating from Kyuquot sound, British Columbia's Pacific Northwest Coast, 

Stunning piece of art, the craftsmanship shown on this piece is really nice. Outstanding expression, great details and clean carving lines, the Wolf's head has been sanded and painted, beautifully decorated, signed underneath. A lot of good things going on in this little piece.

Measurements: 11" x 5" x 3 1/2", Base is 8" in diameter, total height is 14" when in stand.

Meaning: The Wolf represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter. The Wolf is a very social and communicative creature; he uses body movement, touch and sound.
