Gorgeous EAGLE Model Mask, on base by the Kwakiulth First Nation artist Sarah Robertson, born in Kingcome Inlet, British Columbia's Pacific Northwest Coast.

excellent carving and painting all around. The Eagle's head is adorned with traditional bark and rope from the cedar tree. The mask is standing on a pine base, left natural. It can be taken off easy. It's signed by the artist, dated 2021, it's a new piece and just arrived in our gallery.

Measurements:  16" long incl. cedar bark, 4" wide, 14" high incl. cedar bark when in base, can be taken off base.. base is 12" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/2"  

Meaning: Eagles mate for life and are therefore also seen as a symbol of lasting love and dedication. It is told that the Eagle end their own life in despair when the mate is lost. Eagle feathers are used in the most important ceremonies, a display of respect, courage, Chieftainship and wisdom.
