Eagle caught Salmon - Title: Brother's for life

by Chris George, a member of the Ucluelet First Nations, originating from Kyuquot sound, British Columbia's Pacific Northwest Coast,

Cedar - and look at the depth in the carving of this piece - almost like a 3D carving.

I tried to capture all the details...the eagle's head is fully carved out. Each wing does have another eagle's head, almost like they are protecting. Stunning piece of art, the craftsmanship shown on this piece is really outstanding. Beautiful and mesmerizing expression, clean carving lines,  A lot of good things going on in this piece.

No detailed biography available at this time. This piece is signed and dated (2006) at the back. Minor signs of aging, have a close look. It's gorgeous, would also look great in a frame.

Measurements: 18 1/2" x 11" x 1 1/2" (47 cm x 28 cm x 4 cm)
