SALMON wall art carving

by William Baker, a member of the Squamish Tribe of the Coast Salish First Nation. William is Shane Baker's uncle, both well known and highly collectable artists from the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest. They are coming from a large family of master artists here on Vancouver Island. 

Measurements: 21 1/2" x 6" x 1/2" (55 x 15 x 1.5 cm)

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
