SALMON on wooden base

fabulous craftsmanship, such detailed and deep carving lines, accent paint in the base which really works so great on the yellow of the cedar wood, small, but so rich and powerful. Signed underneath the base, the salmon can be taken off the base. 

Measurements: 8 1/2" x 3" x 1", base is 7" x 3" x 1", total height in base 4 1/2" 

Meaning The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.
