Eagle paddle

very clean, elegant, powerful painting in vibrant accent colors on this clean piece of cedar. The carving lines are superb, deep, excellent craftsmanship. It's easy recognizable as one of Doug's pieces of art, contemporary and traditional at the same time. Signed at the back. Beautfiul piece of art!!!

Measurements: 49 1/2" tall, blade is 6" wide, 1" thick

Meaning: Eagles mate for life and are therefore also seen as a symbol of lasting love and dedication. It is told that the Eagle end their own life in despair when the mate is lost. Eagle feathers are used in the most important ceremonies, a display of respect, courage, Chieftainship and wisdom.
