Hand carved Thunderbird Sculpture with rich expression by the Kwakiulth First Nation Artist GINO (Eugene) SEWARD - It's really a fabulous piece of Art!!!!

Excellent craftsmanship!!! VERY deep cuts, so detailed! EASY recognizable as one of Gino's pieces!! Beautifully dark stain applied, then polished to accentuate the natural grain of the wood, simply outstanding. And you can see the knife marks all around the piece, signed with carved initials underneath.

Measurements: 12" x 4" x 4" (30 x 10 x 10 cm) 

Meaning: The Thunderbird symbolizes supernatural power and is believed to be the  dominating force behind all of natures doings. It's  a mythical creature and only the most prestigious and powerful Chiefs are allowed to have the Thunderbird as a crest
