Owl and Frog
Bear used a beautiful piece of red cedar, the carving lines are very deep, detailed and clean. As always, Bear delivered a very elegant and just gorgeous piece of art. The colors chosen are soft and fabulous. Made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached, signed at the back.
Measurements: 25" x 6" x 1"
Meaning: The Owl is associated with the souls of ancestors and are viewed with high respect. They symbolize wisdom, intuition, prophecies and sacred knowledge. The Frog is a very important Symbol in the Northwest Coast Art and Culture. Since he is living in two worlds, water and land, the Frog is revered for his adaptability, knowledge and power to traverse worlds and inhabit both, the natural and the supernatural.
