Absolutely gorgeous

"School of Salmon" art carving by Neil Baker, a member of a large family of First Nations artists from the Coast Salish (Squamish) First Nations, originating from Vancouver Island.

Beautiful red cedar - so very detailed, clean cut-outs, highest quality craftsmanship - only an artist with many years of experience can master this. Showing 6 salmon in one piece, swimming together. Made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger attached, carved in front, signed at the back.

Measurements: 40" x 8 1/2" x 1"

Meaning: The Salmon symbolizes prosperity, renewal and fertility. They are one of the most important and highest respected animals of all since they have been the primary food source from the beginning of time to the Northwest Coast First Nations.

Note: USD display estimated based on Bank of Canada average exchange rate, updated weekly, invoices in CAD, overseas shipping costs ($245 CAD) added at check-out.
