Fantastic piece, absolutely superb quality

Hand carved, Hand painted, designed by our late dear friend and mentor John Livingston (adopted) Kwakwaka'wakw First Nation

The carving and painting is absolutely exceptional, typical John Livingston, close to perfection. He paid so much attention to details and made sure, everything is just right. The sound, the fit into the base, the balance, the expression, wonderful. Even the base is absolutely marvelous. The eyes of the cormorant are inlaid with dark blue glass beads (possible trade beads, but I'm not sure).

John signed the piece underneath the base, dated 1995.

Measurements: 12" long, 8" high in base, 4" wide

Note: USD amounts estimated based on Bank of Canada average exchange rate, updated weekly, Invoice in CAD, overseas shipping costs ($75 CAD) added at check-out.
