Gorgeous HOK-HOK Model Mask, on base by Kwakiulth First Nation artist Sarah Robertson, born in Kingcome Inlet, British Columbia's Pacific Northwest Coast.

excellent carving and painting all around. The Hok-Hok's head is adorned with traditional bark and rope from the cedar tree. The mask is standing on a pine base. It can be taken off easy. It's signed by the artist. Just another lovely piece of authentic, gorgeous and true Indigenous Art by an experienced artist. 

Measurements:  16" long incl. cedar bark, total height in base 11" 4" deep can be taken out of base easy 

Meaning: The Huk-Huk (or Hok-Hok) is one of the mythological Hamatsa (Cannibal dance) birds.
