How beautiful and unique

Large (Men) Sterling silver BEAR ring by master jeweler Paddy Seaweed, a member of the Kwakwaka'wakw First Nations, living on Vancouver Island, BC.

Very detailed carving, very clean lines, strong expression, so powerful and beautiful at the same time.

Size: 12, approx. 21.5 mm

The face of the ring is 1 1/4" x 3/4"

Meaning: The Bear is a symbol for power, courage, physical strength and leadership. Warrior's e.g. are known to wear bear claw necklaces which meant protection. In Haida culture the Bear is referred to as "Elder Kinsman" and was treated like a high ranking guest
