Kingfisher by Nuuh-chah-Nulth artist Brian Bob

superb art carving - the images don't do it justice - it's truly a fantastic piece of Indigenous Art. The expression is so alive and wonderful. Abalone inlaid eye, vibrant blue stain, polished to accentuate the natural grain of the sitka spruce. The Kingfisher also shows a salmon spirit in it's body, have a close look. Carved in front, signed at the back, made and prepared for wall hanging - have a look.... it's marvelous.

Measurements: 15" x 10 1/2" x 1"  

Meaning: The Kingfisher is a messenger for good luck to come. Kingfisher are very brave and bold, it will dive headlong into the water to catch small fish. It teaches us how to plunge into the unknown with confidence and not with fear. It is a symbol for success and prosperity
