Very deep deep carving lines -
Thunderbird, gorgeous art carving by Sarah Daniels (nee Robertson), very talented and well known Indigenous artist from the Kwakiulth First Nation, Kingcome Inlet, BC.
Nice pine wood. Truly high quality in this piece. Very clean sanding. Carved in front, signed at the back, made and prepared for wall hanging. Please have a close look at the images - they just don't do it justice...
Measurements: 12" x 5" x 1/2"
Meaning: The Thunderbird symbolizes supernatural power and is believed to be the dominating force behind all of natures doings.
