Absolutely gorgeous
Large BALD EAGLE wall art carving, designed, hand carved and hand painted by Neil Baker, a member of a large family of First Nations artists from the Coast Salish (Squamish) First Nations, originating from Vancouver Island.
Beautiful red cedar - so very detailed, clean cut-out, highest quality craftsmanship - the color chosen is really vibrant and beautiful. Neil put a lot of work into his pieces - the carving is truly excellent, made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger attached, carved in front, signed at the back.
Measurements: 26" x 8 1/2" x 1"
Meaning: Eagles mate for life and are therefore also seen as a symbol of lasting love and dedication. It is told that the Eagle end their own life in despair when the mate is lost. Eagle feathers are used in the most important ceremonies, a display of respect, courage, Chieftainship and wisdom.
