Gorgeous piece of Indigenous Art - and as always - Guaranteed authentic and coming direct from the artist
RAVEN in mourning, red cedar wooden wall art carving by Squamish (Coast Salish) First Nation artist Shane Flood Baker.
Easy recognizable as one of his pieces of art. Absolutely superb quality and guaranteed authentic Indigenous, traditional art - you won't find any flaws. Please have a close look at the images even though they don't do it justice. Very detailed, close to perfection, lines, the painting is amazing, he pays so much attention to details. Shane signed at the back, carved in the front, it's prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached. Dated 2023. Just a wonderful expression, and it is still showing all the knife marks, Shane did not sand it down which makes it truly fabulous, it clearly shows how much work he put into it.
Measurements: 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 1"

In the Kwakwaka'wakw culture the Raven is known as the messenger of the sky and famous for being a somewhat mischievous glutton. He's always out to please himself and to have a good time.
