Another fantastic piece by master artist Bear (Doug) Horne from the Coast Salish First Nation (Tsawout and Pacheedaht), son of master artist Doug LaFortune

Hand carved, one piece of wood: EAGLE and WOLF Sculpture

3D Sculpture, truly superb craftsmanship, highest quality carving on bass wood!

Bear has such a great eye for design and so many years of experience in carving. His pieces of art are today highly sought after and simply stand out due to their elegance and expression. The lines are very precise and deep. Natural hairline on one wing, stabilized and non-threatening - gorgeous and authentic Indigenous art at it's best!!!

Measurements: 21" tall, 6" deep, 4" wide

Meaning: Eagles mate for life and are therefore also seen as a symbol of lasting love and dedication. It is told that the Eagle end their own life in despair when the mate is lost. Eagle feathers are used in the most important ceremonies, a display of respect, courage, Chieftainship and wisdom. The Wolf represents loyalty, strong family ties, good communication, education, understanding and intelligence. Of all land animals, the Wolf has the strongest supernatural powers and is the most accomplished hunter. The Wolf is a very social and communicative creature; he uses body movement, touch and sound.

Note: USD amounts estimated based on Bank of Canada average exchange rate, updated weekly, Invoice in CAD, overseas shipping costs $95 CAD added at check-out

We guarantee the authenticity of every piece of art sold through our Gallery !!!

We do not offer reproductions, imported copies, cheap mass-produced, machine made or so called native-inspired/native-style knock-off pieces.
