wall art carving by Squamish First Nation artist Shane Flood Baker. Easy recognizable as one of his pieces of art. Very detailed, very correct and clean lines, the painting is amazing, he pays so much attention to details. Signed at the back, carved in the front, it's prepared for wall hanging, hanger already attached.

Measurements: 17" x 7 1/2" x 1/2"

Meaning: The Bear is a symbol for power, courage, physical strength and leadership. Warrior's e.g. are known to wear bear claw necklaces which meant protection. In Haida culture the Bear is referred to as "Elder Kinsman" and was treated like a high ranking guest.
